Northern League Division Two 04/02/2023 – 3pm Kick Off   Brandon United 0-3 Jarrow   No Scorer| Berhan (48), Salim (53), Whittle (74)   Match Goals Click here   On a cold but pleasant afternoon in County Durham Jarrow used their powers of bouncebackability to produce another fine away display and take all 3 points from a top Brandon side.   The game started slowly with the away side settling the quickest but when Brandon took over control the visitors had Curtis Richardson to thank for keeping the scores level. A wicked inswinging cross was met by the diving head of former Jarrow man Kobe Bewicke and Curtis managed to acrobatically tip the ball over the bar.   On 23 minutes and Richardson was at it again. A corner swung in and powerfully met by the head of a Brandon player was once again tipped majestically over the bar by the Jarrow stopper.   Just over 10 minutes later and Brandon were within a whisker of taking the lead when the ball fell kindly to the pace

Abu the provider this time who slid in Liam  Mulvain  who cooly found the bottom left corner of the net. 0-1.   Just 5 minutes later and Jarrow’s top goal scorer was at it again with the assists. He cleverly got round the defender and drew the foul on the edge of the box.
